LAS VEGAS – Today, Dr. Joe Heck for U.S. Senate announced its first-quarter fundraising totals for 2016. The campaign raised more than $1.66 million for the quarter and finished with $3.8 million cash on hand, which is $1.3 million more than Heck’s Democratic opponent, Catherine Cortez Masto.
“With a $1.3 million cash on hand advantage, we are well positioned to replace Harry Reid with a proven leader. As a physician, entrepreneur and soldier, Joe Heck is someone who Nevadans will be proud to say is their U.S. Senator. That’s because on jobs and the economy, national security, health care and education, the only candidate for U.S. Senate who offers Nevadans more than just talk is Joe Heck,” said Heck spokesperson Brian Baluta. “This stands in stark contrast to our opponent, Ms. Cortez Masto, who pays lip service to bipartisanship, but is on the issues a standard, big government, Washington-knows-best Democrat, which is why the Harry Reid money machine is pulling out all the stops to install her as his hand-picked successor.”
