LAS VEGAS – Today, Dr. Joe Heck for U.S. Senate announced second-quarter fundraising totals for 2016. The campaign raised $1,841,454 for the quarter and finished with $4,775,000 cash on hand, which extends a $1,359,155 lead on Heck’s Democratic opponent, Catherine Cortez Masto.

“Dr. Heck has the real world experience as a physician, veteran, small business owner and brigadier general in the Army Reserve to be a strong and independent voice for Nevada in the U.S. Senate,” said Heck spokesperson Brian Baluta. “Despite the full-tilt support of Harry Reid’s special interest money machine, Catherine Cortez Masto, like her political Godfather, has a spending problem. And recent polls confirm that it will take more than Harry Reid’s money to convince Nevadans that Cortez Masto is anything more than someone who has traded political connections and favors for six-figure government jobs and elected office.”
